The hunting tours are intended for those hunters who long for meeting with beautiful pristine nature as well as hunting excitement and good trophies. The hunting territories of JSC “Uch-Sumer” are located in the very heart of Altai, nearby the Belukha mountain (4506 m). Various and magnificent landscape will follow you during all your trip, but you’ll get the best impressions when see such wild animals as maral, ibex, roe, bear and wolf. General hunting conditions in Republic Altai The hunting is held in the mountain - taiga zone. Air temperature varies depending on season and height above sea level from + 25 °C up to - 28 °C (height above sea level 900 - 3000 meters). Equipment: light and warm clothes, waterproof and interchangeable footwear, sleeping-bags. Living in a place of hunting will be in small cabins, tents. Delivery to the area of hunting is done by helicopter or motor transport (depending on hunters’ desire), further - riding by horses over the mountainous area. Duration of hunting is 7-8 days exclusive of removals. Duration at combined hunting (2 or more trophies of different species) is 12 - 15 days. A client is accompanied by a horseman and a huntsman. Bath, dining room, operating staff are available in basic camps (Tungur, Kucherla). Crossings between camps are not more than 20 kilometers. Huntsmen Each hunter has personal experienced huntsman and horseman and is accompanied by an interpreter. A client may engage additional hunters for battue hunting and also invite his friends to come with him. An approximate program of tour Meeting at the airport of Barnaul or Novosibirsk. Delivery to a basic camp (500-700 km from Gorno-Altaisk): Tungur, Aktash, Kosh-Agach, stopping for breakfast, lunch and for executing documents and payment in Gorno-Altaisk. The way takes in general 11 hours. Accommodation, dinner, sauna. Next morning - ranging of fire. Departure to the place of hunting. Every expedition start its hunting trip from the basic camps “Tungur”, “Antara” or “The Kucherlinskoye lake”. Removal of 25-50 km by car or horse. Hunting in the evening of the same day. Hunting is carried out in radius of 1-20 km; duration of hunting is 8 -10 days, depending on the kind of tour. When the trophies are gained, primary trophy preparation takes place, then moving to the basic camp. Preparation of trophy for export, registration of veterinary certificate – during 1 day. Further moving to Barnaul, Novosibirsk, stopping on the way for dinner. Hunting trips are held in established dates. Arrival and departure are in workdays. The hunting is held in the hunting territories of the “Uch-Sumer” company and other territories used for hunting.
